İstanbul Kültür University Faculty of Health Sciences has equipped its laboratories with state-of-the-art devices to support our students' theoretical and practical education with their experienced academic staff. There are 9 laboratories within the faculty: Anatomy, Nutrition Principles, Microbiology, Electrotherapy, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Practice, Mobilization-Manipulation, Healthy Life, Nursing Basic Education and Simulation. Our laboratories provide the space and equipment that our students can practice individually and in groups.
Anatomy Laboratory
In the Faculty of Health Sciences, students are given theoretical and practical skills with the use of anatomy models in our laboratory. The anatomical structures in the human body can be examined in detail in the anatomy laboratory which contains human skeleton bones and modern models. In this way, our students will examine and comprehend the organs and their placement in the human body.
Nutrition Principles Laboratory
Our Nutrition Principles laboratory was established with the aim of training equipped dieticians who gain professional skills by developing their theoretical information they received in the courses with practical applications and discussing the subjects. In our nearly 60 sqm laboratory where students will apply their professional knowledge in practice, there are all equipment and kitchen tools that students can use in their applications.
Microbiology Laboratory
Food safety is one of the main factors that affect consumer health. Microbiological analyzes are important for the safety of foods that undergo many processes during preparation for production and consumption. Our microbiology laboratory, designed to provide applied training services to students, is equipped in accordance with international standards in the light of developments and innovations in this field. In laboratory practices, the latest and most up-to-date national and international analysis methods are used.
Electrotherapy Laboratory
Following the theoretical knowledge within the scope of electrotherapy and heat-light-hydrotherapy courses, our students can practice with the following devices;
